Hello there !!!
I'm Herbert Catania and I hail from the lovely island of Malta, which is located in the Centre of the Mediterranean Sea. I have just hit my sixties. I have a soft spot for nature, landscape, architecture and B&W photography.
As the dictum goes, my photography says a lot about the way I see things, not to mention the dire passion of being behind a camera of course!
A now Retired Banker by profession, I've been into photography ever since I was a kid thanks to my Dad (Francis X) and my two elder brothers; Joe & Edwin. As a teenager, I took loads of film and slides with my then Olympus OM10 & OM4Ti SLRs, which I still dearly possess. The exigencies of work, other interests (My other hobby is Amateur Radio - callsign 9H1BD) and commitments had gradually pushed my hobby into a deep hibernation for quite a few years.
Quite fortunately, the flame has rekindled and I am now happily back into the world of digital photography.
Hardware:-

I mainly use Photoshop, Lightroom CC & Luminar 4 for my digi 'darkroom' work.
